Cedar Rock Express Train!

Today, we took a trip to ride the Cedar Park Express train at the Williamson County Park. It was the perfect day.....warm, but a little overcast so not too hot. We picked the perfect time! When we arrived, there was no one else there. :) We had the train all to ourselves. The ride goes a little over a mile through the park - even through a tunnel! It was so much fun. We'll definitely do it again.

Trip to see the Easter Bunny

We ventured out today in the wind (felt like my hair was going to be blown right off of my head) and took Abigail to see the Easter Bunny. She didn't cry.....but also wasn't really interested in smiling either. I think she was #1 annoyed with the wind and #2 not too sure who the weird man was in a bunny suit. Haha

Abigail learned to sit up unassisted! She started out with just a few seconds and now she's able to sit for several minutes and play! We just have to watch out if she looks up in the air - her head tends to weigh her down and she starts to topple!

Abigail's first sickness

Poor little sweetheart......she had bronchiolitis this past week. I almost didn't think twice about it. She only had a tiny cough. She never acted like she felt bad, ate fine, slept like normal. One day the cough sounded like it had a small rattle. Sure enough, the doc said bronchiolitis! I had to bring a nebulizer home & give her breathing treatments to clear the wheeze. Doesn't she look pitiful? Good thing is - she's so much better now!

Abigail's 4 month checkup

Abigail is 18 weeks old today. I can hardly belive it! She went for her 4 month checkup and shots this past Tuesday. She is up to 13 lbs 10 oz! Big girl! Still a short one, but everything we perfect according to her doctor. (By the way - we LOVE Abby's pediatrician....she's awesome.) The shots again were not fun, but Abby's nurse was quick like last time and she did o.k. She wasn't really even that grumpy after she'd had a nap, so I was thankful she didn't have any sort of reaction.

Abby is trying to roll over....she gets over on her side & then decides she'd rather chew on her hands than keep rolling. We're going to keep working on it......

Hello, everyone! Abigail is 17 weeks old......she goes for her 4 month checkup on Tuesday. I'm excited to see how much she weighs, but sad that she needs shots again.

We figured that at 4 months old, she was old enough to help fold laundry. It wore her out....as you can see from this photo.

Next chore - dishes!
